The South Melbourne Ferrars Street Primary School has won an award at the World Architecture Festival in Berlin in the Education – Future Projects category. As the first vertical school in the Victoria, the school will cater for 525 students and include an early learning centre, multi-purpose community rooms and indoor and outdoor multi-purpose sports courts. The school was designed by architecture firm Hayball.
